The Parkening International Guitar Competition is going on this week beginning with the youth competition tomorrow (Tuesday), and the flamenco artist and luthier Benjamin Shearer will offer a free recital on Wednesday at the Ventura County Classical Guitar Society meeting in Camarillo Then there are two events on Friday evening, the voice/guitar Duo Fado appear at The Strings Connection shop in Rolling Hills Estates, and the Cal Poly Guitar Ensemble under the direction of Buzz Gravelle perform in Pomona
