Summer is slow for classical guitar events, but there are a few this week On Wednesday in Camarillio, Scott Sanchez will perform at the monthly meeting of the Ventura Classical Guitar Society (free, as always), and on Saturday evening Roberto Hermosillo and Olivia Chiang appear at the Fret House in Covina (some of you have already heard them perform at various Guitar Circle recitals) Then on Sunday afternoon John Schneiderman plays the Russian 7-string guitar in a recital at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana; the recital is free with a paid admission to the museum, which is always well worth the visit
