Our busy week begins with two free events on Wednesday, USC Thornton graduate Connie Sheu offering a noontime recital in Pasadena and the Ignition Duo performing that evening at the Ventura County Classical Guitar Society's monthly meeting in Camarillo On Thursday afternoon the world-renown lutenist Paul O'Dette offers a master class at USC, free to auditors Then two events on Thursday evening, with Richard Turner directing a free guitar chamber recital at Cal State Fullerton, and Jesse Freeman appearing in the newly instituted recital series at Sierra Madre Music Finally, the lovely Martha Masters offers a free recital at Loyola Marymount on Sunday evening, her first solo recital at LMU in a dozen years
