This Tuesday USC will offer their Guitar Student Concerto Concert, which promises to be a wonderful evening including music by Rodrigo and Brouwer performed by prize-winning young musicians Then on Wednesday evening the Artisan Guitar Ensemble, a trio of former students from the stellar CSUF guitar program, appear at the Ventura County Guitar Society's meeting in Camarillo, free as always

Many of you are already familiar with NPR's "From the Top", a weekly program featuring performances by brilliant young musicians from all over the country Next Sunday's broadcast on KUSC-91 5 FM (6 PM on February 3) will include 14-year old Jennifer Kim, a student of Pomona College's Jack Sanders and winner of a Jack Kent Cooke Young Artists award We heard Jennifer play at last week's OCGC Showcase Recital as part the Orpheus Ensemble, which has been selected to perform at the GFA Festival in Louisville, Kentucky next summer
