Our busy week begins on Wednesday evening in Corona del Mar when the Schneiderman-Yamaya Duo offer a recital featuring various combinations of baroque lute, mandora & mandolin, and continues Friday at noon in Claremont with Ursula Maria Kleinecke-Boyer and Gregg Nestor presenting a free duo voice/guitar recital On Friday evening the USC Classical Guitar Department offer a free recital by some of their alumni, quite a stellar category of performers, and on Saturday the world-renown lutenist Nigel North performs at Loyola Marymount Finally, on Sunday afternoon the Da Camera Society's "Concerts in Historic Sites" series presents three events in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of LA, with Mak Grgic (guitar) and Jay Campbell (cello) offering duo performances at 1 and 3PM (different programs, I believe), and the unconventional JACK string quartet appearing with guitarist Mak Grgic (obviously a busy young man!) at 3:30
