On Thursday evening (tomorrow) John Schneiderman will perform on lute and baroque guitar as guest soloist with the LA Chamber Orchestra at the Colburn School in LA And some of you may have seen Jeff Cogan's slide show a while ago about his experience ordering a guitar from the French luthier Daniel Friederich - in the past year Jeff has produced a documentary film on this renown artist, and is screening it in a "sneak preview" this Saturday at Chapman This film covers a fascinating combination of history, music and craftsmanship, and it's free
