This Saturday is the OCGC's monthly meeting at Chapman, featuring the brilliant young Thai artist Ekachai Jeareakul This recital is part of his international concert tour which he won as part of his first prize award at last year's GFA competition, it's an event not to be missed!

This week's events begin on Wednesday when the renown guitarist Eric Henderson (who studied privately with Segovia) will offer a free lecture at UCI on the history of the Spanish Guitar, registration is available online On Saturday afternoon the duo of Daniel Kessner (flute) and Jordan Charnofsky (guitar) will perform in a free recital in Santa Monica, and that evening the Cuban-born guitarist Rene Izquierdo appears at Cal State Northridge Then two more events on Sunday evening, with Martha Masters offering a recital at Loyola Marymount, and Cameron O'Connor together with composer Daniel Temkin performing at ArtShare LA
