We have three opportunities to hear the Ensemble Fret this week (that's Buzz Gravelle, Walter Marsh and Peter Yates playing guitar, mandolin and arpeggione, among other instruments), on Tuesday they offer a free noontime recital at LA City College, another recital at Cal Poly Pomona on Friday evening, then one more free recital on Saturday evening in a private home in Pacific Palisades for which an RSVP is required There are two more events on the schedule on Saturday evening, when the American Guitar Society holds its monthly meeting in Valley Glen, and the always stellar Scott Tennant performs at Cal State Northridge
