We have two opportunities (both free) to hear the students in Chris Parkening's Pepperdine classical guitar program in Malibu, one early Tuesday evening on campus, the other Friday afternoon at the Malibu Public Library

And don't forget that the GFA Convention and competition is taking place at Cal State Fullerton in June which will offer many stellar performances and other events, and on the last two weekends of this month, a bit farther from home, the San Diego Guitar Festival is happening at SD State
