Three other events this week, on Thursday evening the Alma Nova guitar/flute duo performs at the Laguna Art Museum (free with museum admission), on Friday afternoon the Pepperdine classical guitar program offers a free concert at the Malibu Library, and on Sunday afternoon the Moller-Fraticelli Guitar Duo appear in a free recital at Pomona College in Claremont

And I've just learned about a Kickstarter program to support a new short film by Marcos Efron focussed on classical guitar and its music's unique ability to bring people together Efron's work has received a lot of positive buzz, if you're interested you can find more information at: https://www kickstarter com/projects/marcosefron/resonance-a-short-film?ref=4j4itj

Also a heads-up for the 3-day La Guitarra California Festival at San Luis Obispo beginning on the 22nd, this festival is a lovely and rewarding event that's well worth the time and effort of attending
