Be sure to come to Chapman this Saturday evening to hear the Mayes Duo - they are wizards on guitars, lutes and a variety of other instruments, but for this Featured Artist recital at the Orange County Guitar Circle's monthly meeting they will be performing on lutes, an unusual and wonderful opportunity for all of us

Three other events on this week's schedule, on Tuesday evening the world renown lutenist Nigel North offers a Master Class (free to auditors) for students in USC's classical guitar program, on Friday the guitar orchestra of the Pasadena Conservatory of Music appear in a free concert, and on Saturday the American Guitar Society holds a fund-raiser in Valley Glen featuring a medley of performers from the area they aptly describe as "LA's Guitar All-Stars"
