The Classical Guitar Events List was started two and a half decades ago I thank you all for your participation, but I'm sad to announce that the list is set to end The Directors of the Orange County Guitar Circle have asked me to merge this mailing list with the OCGC members' list which I have declined to do, as it would violate the promise made to all subscribers on the Events List sign-up page As a result the OCGC will no longer sponsor this list, and it will be removed from their web site as of 1 September Anyone who would like to join the OCGC's mailing list can sign up at this link: https://ocgc org/stay-in-touch

There are no events this week, but the American Guitar Society has announced they'll accept applications for their annual Bickford Competition as of 1 September It's open to contestants from age 8 to 17 in two age categories and the competition will be held on 1 November at the AGS's monthly meeting in Canoga Park To enter go to: https://www americanguitarsociety org/ags-bickford-competition
