This Saturday is the Orange County Guitar Circle's monthly meeting at Chapman, a Featured Artist Recital presenting the Italian star Massimo Delle Cese - don't miss this one! Delle Cese will also offer a Master Class on Sunday morning, free to auditors

That's just one event in a very busy week beginning on Tuesday with Roberto Hermosillo and Kevin Enstrom appearing in a free recital at Pepperdine On Wednesday evening Michael Nigro's Vanguard University Guitar Ensemble offer a free concert in Costa Mesa, and the Ensemble Fret (featuring guitar, mandolin, arpeggione et al ) perform at Cal Poly Pomona Ensemble Fret appear again on Friday at UCLA, the event is free but reservations are required On Saturday evening John Schneiderman plays baroque guitar as the Ensemble Galenterie offer a concert in UCI's Faculty Artist Series

Also on Saturday from 11 to 2:30 the "Workshop on Writing for the Guitar as a Featured Instrument" is being held at LAVC in Valley Glen And I forgot to mention last week that Episode 3 of Scott Wolf's podcast series "All Strings Considered", this one featuring Martha Masters, has been posted at: http://www scottwolfguitar com/podcast html
