Many other events this week, Wednesday evening the LA Electric 8 perform as part of the Cal Poly Pomona Guitar Festival (they also offer a Master class which is free to auditors), and that same evening members of the the LA City College guitar program appear in a free recital On Thursday David Grimes' Orange County Guitar Orchestra will perform in Whittier and David Isaacs' Cypress College Guitar Ensemble offers their end-of-year concert, and Friday you can hear Cal State Fullerton's Guitar Showcase recital (directed by Martha Masters) and the LA Valley College guitar program's spring concert (directed by Gregory Newton) in Valley Glen Then on Saturday afternoon the AlmaNova flute/guitar duo appear in a free recital Glendale
