Another busy week beginning with two events on Wednesday evening, the first of which is David Adele's Santa Ana College Guitar Ensemble who offer a free recital at Mt SAC in Walnut, including the Campanella Guitar Quartet - the ensemble perform again on Saturday in Santa Ana, and the quartet offer their own recital in Temecula on Sunday afternoon Also on Wednesday the stellar New York-based David Starobin will perform at UCLA On Thursday Paul O'Dette, one of the world's foremost lutenists, makes a free appearance at USC, and on Friday we have an opportunity to hear the unusual Ensemble FRET in Pomona (ever hear a "bowed guitar"?)
