The Orange County Guitar Circle's monthly meeting is this Saturday at Chapman, a Featured Artist Recital offering a rare opportunity to hear Serbian-born virtuoso Miroslav Tadic, an internationally renowned guitarist, composer and improviser Admission and memberships are always real bargains, and Saturday's recital is a great opportunity to begin or renew your membership (if you haven't already done it online see below)

But our busy week begins with two free events on Wednesday, the Cal State Fullerton guitar program will offer their Guitar Chamber Recital, and USC's Wenjun Qui presents his DMA recital which will feature the collaboration of Cameron O'Connor Another two events on Friday, one at Cal Poly Pomona when Matthew Elgart and Nicholas Barrett join up for a recital, and the another in Simi Valley where Michael Chapdelaine will appear, introduced by a performance by the Los Angeles Guitar Duo of Bryan Fasola and Donovan Butler (Chapdelaine, by the way, is the only person to have won first prize in both the GFA and the Fingerstyle guitar competitions) Then on Saturday George Sakellariou, who was a protege of Segovia, will perform at LA Valley College in Valley Glen
