This is the season for guitar program recitals, beginning Thursday evening with the stellar USC department's recital and continuing Friday afternoon with students in Pepperdine's Classical Guitar program performing in Malibu, both events are free Then two concerts presenting guitar orchestras as well as soloists and ensembles, the LA Valley College program on Friday evening in Valley Glen, and Orange Coast College's program in Costa Mesa on Sunday afternoon, which also features guest artist William Kanengiser
