Very busy week and I'm already running late two free events this Wednesday evening, Michael Jones offers his senior recital at Cal State Fullerton, and the Ventura County Classical Guitar Society holds its monthly meeting in Camarillo, this one featuring guitarist Satik Andriassian with flautist David Miller On Thursday the USC Thornton classical guitar program offers its free department recital, and on Friday afternoon the students in Chris Parkening's classical guitar program at Pepperdine offer their free monthly concert at the Malibu Library On Friday evening our own Gregg Goodhart offers a recital and workshop for the Vietnamese-American Classical Guitar Society in Westminster, and in Valley Glen the LAVC program will present their guitar orchestra together with ensembles and soloists in concert

Saturday afternoon we have another opportunity to hear the Campanella guitar quartet as they offer a free recital at the Laguna Niguel Public Library, and that evening the American Guitar Society's guitar orchestra presents their Christmas concert in Valley Glen And for something a bit different, on Sunday evening the Leslie & Mark Duo (voice/guitars) appear at the Republic of Pie in North Hollywood, offering arrangements of vintage pop standards by the legendary Howard Heitmeyer
