A bit late, but the first of two events on this week's schedule is tonight (Wednesday) in Pacific Palisades when the Ensemble Fret (guitar, mandolin, fretless and bowed guitars ) joins several friends in their Winter Solstice Fest for what should be a fascinating evening of food and music, free, but Musician's Fund donations will be accepted And on Thursday afternoon Andrew Sierra and his students offer a free holiday recital at the Rosemead Public Library
