I just found out about several events this weekend...on Friday evening in LA the always-astonishing Romeros are performing as part of their 60th anniversary world tour, and are offering a Master Class in Santa Monica the next day (there is an Auditor's fee). I just learned of another classical guitar youth competition (ages 8-18) offered by the Latino Arts Strings Program, they're located in Milwaukee but the competition is by video submission only with an application deadline of February 1 in just a couple of weeks.
