A semblance of normality returns to the SoCal Events community! The Ventura County Classical Guitar Society will be presenting live recitals this year, I unfortunately got to this too late for their first recital which was Wednesday evening, but the rest of their 2021 schedule has been posted on the SoCal Events list. Two free events this weekend have just been added to the list, both with Scott Tennant and Bill Kanengiser, a phenomenal pair! On Saturday afternoon (evening in New York) they're performing with the Albany Symphony Orchestra, and on Sunday morning (early!) they offer a recital of duo and solo pieces, also from the Palace Theater in Albany - two events not to be missed. There are a few new events coming up, starting tomorrow (Thursday) evening when the USC Thornton Classical Guitar Department offers a chamber music concert.
