We have two free events this week, Michael Nigro offers a noontime recital on Wednesday at the Pasadena Presbyterian Church and Richard Dawson appears at the Santa Monica Public Library on Saturday afternoon. That evening Eva Beneke will perform her transcription of Bach's second violin partita with vocalists (including the famous Chaconne). Busy week...on Wednesday the Levante Duo appear free at the Ventura Classical Guitar Society meeting in Camarillo, and the brilliant Eliot Fisk performs with clarinetist Richard Stoltzman in the Da Camera Society's concert series in LA. On Thursday Pepe Romero plays Rodrigo's Concerto de Aranjuez with the LA Philharmonic in Disney Hall, then again on Friday morning and on Sunday afternoon.
